Personal data
Two kinds of data may be collected on contexte-visuel.fr.
Data you send us
This is the information you send us through the contact form or by email. The form is handled by the Web3Forms service, which forwards your message to us by email. This information is used only to reply to you.
Data collected automatically
Once you have given your consent, we collect “web analytics” information about your visit (pages viewed, length of visit, browser type and version) using Google Analytics 4 (ID G-TXGVBFYK5J). This is used to measure and improve the site’s audience. It is never passed on to third parties or used for any other purpose.
Legal basis
Visitor statistics are switched on only after you give your consent by clicking “Accept” in the cookie banner. Declining is as easy as accepting, and the site works the same either way.
How long data is kept
- Google Analytics data: 14 months at Google, then deleted automatically.
- Google Analytics cookies (_ga, _ga_*): 13 months at most.
- Your choice (cookie cv_consent): 6 months, after which the banner asks you again.
- Messages received through the form: 3 years at most.
Cookies and what they are for
- cv_consent: remembers your choice so the banner is not shown again. Necessary, always set.
- Google Analytics: visitor statistics. Only if you accept.
- Vimeo and Videas video players: when you start a video, the host’s player loads and may set its own cookies. Without your consent, Vimeo loads in “do not track” mode (dnt).
You can change your mind at any time: change my cookie choices. Withdrawing your consent deletes the Google Analytics cookies.
Your rights over your personal data
You have the right to access, correct or delete all your personal data, and to withdraw your consent to its processing. Write to [email protected]. You can also complain to the French data protection authority, the CNIL (cnil.fr).
